For two large projects this resulted in the design of ground improvement for the AMI Stadium and Ferrymead Apartments. District studies of liquefaction hazard have been done as part of the lifeline work (see lifeline project), and mapping and characterization of liquefaction in Selwyn District following the 4/9/10 Earthquake.
